Waldversteck

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door. Waldversteck is our little forest hideaway and is the perfect place to sit back and relax. Our timber-framed house was completed in 2018, with a separate parking space, garden access and outside space for guests. The interior has been designed and furnished to a high standard and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The apartment is completely self-enclosed with separate guest access. We live in the main house next door with our two children and can be available to answer any questions that may arise. The neighbourhood is residential and extremely quiet, but remains within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. Directly to the north lies the Thuringian Forest national park with thousands of kilometres of hiking and mountain bike trails. Guests have a separate parking space at the top of the garden. Local amenities include a baker's, post office and small supermarket, which are all within 10 minutes' walk. There is also a bus stop on the main road with regular services to Sonneberg and surrounding towns, as well as Sonneberg Ost railway station just beyond with connections to Coburg, Bamberg and Nuremberg.
