Well equipped, comfortable, self-contained studio situated in Dedham Vale AONB, within walking distance of Nayland village, with access to country walks, the River Stour and Suffolk market wool towns. The self-catering accommodation comprises an entrance hall, spacious studio with open ceilings and exposed beams, light comfortable living room with 2 sofas, flat-screen TV, CD/DVD player etc. and a superking sleighbed offers a comfortable nights sleep. A small lobby leads to the shower room. There is a well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room with fridge, full-sized electric cooker and hob, microwave, washing machine, drier and dishwasher. A grassed area is set aside for the use of guests, with table, chairs and a charcoal barbeque. Guests will be able to access some other areas of the extensive gardens on request if convenient. Having your own private entrance to a separate building, you can come and go in a calm and peaceful setting, with the benefit of owners on-site to answer any queries. The property is set on the edge of Nayland and is in the Dedham Vale AONB. There are many rural walks nearby. The village pub, butcher, Post Office and GP surgery are within walking distance. We are well placed for visiting the attractive Suffolk market wool towns of Sudbury, Lavenham, Long Melford and Hadleigh, all being less than 30 minutes drive away. There are also many charming villages nearby. The historic Roman town of Colchester is a mere 20 minutes away by car and can also be reached by a regular bus service from the village. The area is very popular with walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and stargazers. The River Stour is nearby, with accessible launching sites for canoeists, kayakers etc. Your own transport is recommended to take full advantage of all that the area has to offer; there are however bus services to Sudbury and Colchester from the village and access to Greater Anglia rail services within five miles.
