Light & airy 2 bed Victorian house with character

Stone built Victorian terraced house with period features and the comforts of a modern house. There's a new smart TV in the living room but please note you'll need to play content to it from your own devices via HDMI cable. Quiet street overlooking the bowling green with views to Castle Hill and Emley moor. Ample parking. Walking distance to town centre, University and train station. It's also a convenient base to explore the Pennine countryside from. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). Sleeps up to 5 people in 2 double beds (+ 1 on Sofabed in lounge) we also have a children's cot available. The living room has a dining table (seats six comfortably) and comfy leather sofa and smart TV. There's also a small table & chairs in the kitchen which has a 5 burner gas hob & extractor, built in fridge, fan oven and plenty of pots, pans, glasses and utensils! Bathroom with bath and shower, towels & soaps, etc provided. There's a washing machine and a freezer in the basement should you require them. The backyard catches the afternoon sun and there's a BBQ and dining table for you to use. Entire house. Most of the time we are away however if you need to reach us you can message or call anytime. The house is 15 min walk to the excellent Greenhead Park (green flag award winning) and 20min walk to the town centre. There is a post office and small grocery shops, some takeaways (& good fish&chips ;) within 5 mins walk. There is ample free parking directly in front of the house. The nearest bus stop is 2mins walk with frequent buses to the town centre. Huddersfield train station is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute (usually less than £5) taxi ride. There are frequent direct trains to Manchester (around 35mins), Leeds (around 20mins) and York, Liverpool, Newcastle & Hull on the Transpennine express. The WiFi and internet speed is excellent so you should have no trouble streaming your favourite media content. The mobile phone signal is also very good.
