Stunning 17th Century Farmhouse, with superb views

Originally built as a farmhouse in C 1700, Talltrees was recently fully renovated to an exceptional standard combining the contemporary open plan way of living with a warm homely feeling. This country retreat sits in over an acre of private land with the owners separate accommodation at the opposite end of the site. It is only a ten minute walk from the centre of Framlingham and its selection of eateries and independent shops. We maintain and clean our house to a very high standard. Talltrees has a spacious open plan kitchen and living room, with a large seating area, TV and wood burner within the living area. The main living room is connected to the modern glazed conservatory which is the dining room and another seating area with access to the rear patio and garden. There is a separate living room which we like to call the 'snug' which has beautiful views across the fields and allows some quiet time. There is also a spacious entrance lobby, utility and WC on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are 4 bedrooms (one with ensuite) and one large family bathroom, all with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third and fourth bedrooms are set up as twin rooms but can be set up as doubles also with the beds fixed together (please request this on your booking). There is ample parking at the property for 4 vehicles. Guests are encouraged to explore Framlingham by foot with the centre being a 10 minute walk. Exploring the famous 'Castle on the Hill' is always a favourite with the kids! Framlingham is also conveniently situated to enjoy many of Suffolk's quiet lanes by bicycle (these must be brought with you). The closest train station is Wickham Market which is 15 minutes away by taxi. There are many places to visit within easy distance; Aldeburgh (25 minutes), Sutton Hoo (20 minutes), Woodbridge (20 minutes), Thorpeness (30 minutes), Walberswick (30 minutes) but to name a few! I live adjacent the property so can be available when required. Framlingham is an historic market town in the heart of the English countryside offering holiday accommodation and attractions for visitors. With Framlingham is it's Castle, a magnificent 12th century fortress with a long and colourful past which makes a fascinating family day out in Suffolk and made famous by Ed Sheeran with 'Castle on the Hill' There are plenty of local pubs, restaurants, cafes, take away's and deli's to explore when desired and there is also a fantastic market, butchers and supermarket to stock up on essentials and treats too.
