Our historical property is nested in the midst of ancient-old trees, complemented by parklike grounds, less than five minutes away by car to the colourful and cosy Szentendre town centre. Alternatively, a twenty minute stroll or a quick bike ride along the Danube promenade will transport you down memory lane through the narrow cobbled streets lined with art galleries, museums and shops, to the Main Square, dotted with cafes and restaurants. Here you can sample traditional Hungarian gourmet cuisine accompanied by local wines, beers and a good variety of fruit schnapps, (not for the faint hearted!) Nearby attractions and some entertaining options are: Weekend fairs and music festivals, the “Leanyfalu” swimming pool, excursions to Esztergom or bobsledding in Visegrad.
