Traditional corsican stonehouse, Peri Village

This little traditional Corsican stonehouse, is located in a very charming little mountain village. It has 3 floors with an open kitchen on the ground, a living room on the 1st floor, 2 bedrooms at the second floor a beautiful garden. Our 75m2 home is fondly furnished with carefully selected traditional corsican antiques. It has 2 big open chimneys and wonderful little garden (200m2). The view over the valley and to the other mountains is breathtaking. All rooms accept the attic. We provide insights about the environment for hiking, swimming, shopping, local gastronomy All the lovely old Corsican stone houses create a very special authentical environment. The best restaurant of the island is around the corner and the mountain river is only 5 Min walking distance. There are a lot of fascinating old tracking-paths along chestnuts-plantations, genuese bridges and incredible mountain-panorama. The beaches are reachable in 20 minutes; Ajaccio city center in 30 minutes. No public transport available Reestablished with care in 2015: In the house we used natural and old material like old terracotta tiles (anciens tomettes), corsican chestnuts-wood and old art-deco/Jugendstil-lamps and other details. We plant the garden with the typical fruit plants, herbs and flowers like cherry-trees, strawberries, reineclauden- and pomegranate-tree, wine, all kind of herbs inclusiv Verveinne and chilli, bougainvilla, hortensia, lavendel and jasmin. There is also a swing for kids and the possibility of barbecuing. It is a very child-friendly place, even for little kids: there are so many things to explore in the village and surrounding... If you need we can also offer a changing desk for babies.
