It's a perfect house for families or couples, offering spacious accommodation with garden and heated swimming pool. The hilltop location affords stunning views and complete privacy. The house is light and airy. The garden is a mix of sun and shade. The only sounds are the wind in the trees, the birds singing, and the occasional tractor passing by. Font Saint Martin is all about the location. The house can be found at the very end of a long driveway. Perched on a hillside, the house offers stunning views and a great deal of privacy and seclusion. The house itself is recently renovated and decorated simply but stylishly. We have tried to maintain the authenticity and history of the house and previous owners (artist and architect). The entire property is yours - house, garden, swimming pool, games barn. No-one else lives at the property and there are no nearby neighbours. You will be met by our English and French speaking property manager Andrew. Fanjeaux is a pretty and typical French village with a bar/tabac, grocer, baker, butcher and restaurant. Font Saint Martin is a two minute drive or 30 minute walk away from Fanjeaux. Our house is located on the Saint-Jacques walking route, which is part of the Camino Way. We recommend car hire for our location. We welcome well-behaved dogs but downstairs only and not on the furniture please. The garden is large but unfenced, however, we are a long way from any roads. The swimming pool is closed before May 23rd and after September 25th 2020.
