Avocet Beachfront Studio Unit

Avocet Guest House/B&B/Self-Catering is a 3 star graded establishment situated in the upmarket beachfront suburb of Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth. Avocet is owner managed, and we pride ourselves that we go the extra mile to ensure the comfort of our guests. We live on the premises, and are available for information, etc, if needed. However, we respect the privacy of our guests, and our unit has a private entrance, and is separate from the main house. Our unit has private entrance, private, bathroom, kitchenette, DSTV, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, secure parking , and serviced daily. The kitchenette has fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, but no stove. Guests can come and go freely using the remote on their keys. Guests may share the garden with other guests as long as social distancing is adhered to and masks are worn. Our office on the premises is open from 7 am till 9 pm. Check in and check out falling outside of office hours can be arranged. We have beautiful beaches along the Summerstrand coastline, walking distance from Avocet. Port Elizabeth is the Water Sports Capital of South Africa, with numerous water sporting events throughout the year, the most famous being the annual Iron Man Triathlon. Close to Avocet we have the Humewood Golf Course, 2 shopping centers, the Boardwalk Entertainment Complex, the Nelson Mandela University, and numerous fine restaurants. About transport: we have a bus stop in front of Avocet, metered taxis and Ubers are readily available, and pick ups from the airport (10 minutes away) can be arranged.
