Chateau de Siorac was built in 1550. Six bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, three floors, office with WiFi. A 45 acre park, private swimming pool and barbecue area. Chateau de Siorac features some stunning interior decoration, including mosaics, detailed plaster work, wood floors, ancient oak wood paneling, and 4 meter high ceilings with magnificent exposed oak beams. Wallpaper from 1857 with the initials of the Saint Aulaire family still hangs in the living room. With an area of 700 sq/m, guests have a considerable amount of space to relax in. Six bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are laid out across three floors. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances, and adjacent to it there is a laundry room with washer and dryer. On the ground floor you will also find an office with WiFi internet access. The spacious, grand dining room has a large table to enjoy plentiful dinners in a luxurious setting. A monumental 17th century fireplace takes the center stage here. As an exclusive weekly rental guests have access to all the chateau and grounds. We are at hand in case guests need our help for anything. Otherwise we stay as much as possible out of sight so we don't interfere with our guest's privacy. Chateau de Siorac is conveniently located only 10 km from Perigueux, the capital of the Dordogne, which is an ideal starting point for the discovery of some of the most beautiful towns in France. The main airports close to the château are Bergerac (45 km) and Bordeaux (110 km). We also provide catering services to further enhance your stay at Château de Siorac. The Dordogne valley, Sarlat, Domme, Brantome, Les Eyzyes and Saint Emilion are within easy reach from the Chateau. And of course, there is also much to explore in Perigueux itself: the Roman ruins, museums, or the medieval center with its wonderful open market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
