An all season beautiful chalet in Habère-Poche, nestled in the Haute-Savoie, France. Only a 45min drive from Geneva Airport and 20min drive from Lake Geneva (Lac Leman), this chalet is suitable for anyone wanting to enjoy incredible surrounding views, in a peaceful environment, with easy access to a fabulous mountain range and a hot-tub. After parking in front of the chalet, walk up the three tier staircase, to the front door. Inside: - The chalet is spread over 3 floors. - On the ground floor, as you enter the chalet through double glass doors, you walk into the open plan dining/ lounge and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped; the dining table extends to double in size; the lounge area has a large sofa with satellite TV. Just off this room is the cloak room/ utility room and toilet. - The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms (Bedroom 1 has a double bed and Bedroom 2 has two single beds which can be joined together to form a queen sized bed - it also has a cot), and a large bathroom. - The second floor has a large room with 2 single beds. Outside: - At the front of the chalet is parking for 2/3 cars. - To the left of the front door there is a sun deck with a large dining table; there is also all-weather pillow beds. -There is also a 6 person hot-tub. It is a space to 'Relax, unwind and recharge'. The chalet is self contained, with access to a sundeck and spa/ hottub. We live next door, so will/ should be around during your stay. Chalet Habere-Poche is in the countryside, with only a hand full of homes nearby; Habere-Poche village is 5 minutes drive away. The chalet overlooks the valley and the local mountain range. It is very quite and peaceful, ideal for 'getting away from it'. Located at the top of the Green Valley, Habère-Poche is a town that has preserved its charm and authenticity. It enjoys a privileged geographical location, overlooking Annemasse, Thonon and Lake Geneva, and close to major highways. From its agricultural, artisanal and forestry tradition, Habère-Poche has maintained a particularly strong identity. There is a family ski resort only 5 mins drive from the chalet, with other larger resorts only a short drive away. Habère Poche has two ski lifts, so you can enjoy 18 red, blue, green, and black trails for 25 kilometers, as well as a Nordic domain of about 30kilometers. Also open during the summer season, the Habère Poche resort is ideal for hiking, mountain biking and fishing. Several events are organized throughout the year, such as the Printemps des Moïses in June, the popular dance and fireworks show on July 14th, the Rock'n'Poche festival at the foot of a chairlift in August, or a large local market and crafts at the same time. Chalet Habere-Poche is in the mountains, so we recommend you have a vehicle to be able to make the most of your stay. Between November and March, you need to have snow tyres/ chains/ tyre socks to be able to get around, as the snow can arrive very quickly. You will need to be able to walk up stairs to access the chalet. There are two other staircases within chalet. Chalet Habère-Poche is cleaned and disinfected before each guests arrival, according to the published protocols specifically adapted to limit the spread of the virus. We allow 24 hours between guests, to allow for thorough cleaning and disinfecting. In order to allow everyone to benefit from the same level of security as that offered to you, here are some recommendations that we invite you to respect during your stay: At each of your meetings with us (the owners) please continue to adopt the - recommended barrier measures (wear a mask, great each other orally, respect distance of 1 metre, avoid physical contact). - We invite you to bring masks and hydroalcoholic solution to ensure quality health continuity during your stay. Detailed information of the cleaning under taken and process to follow during your stay will be able on arrival - or in advance if required.
