Lovely cottage close to beach in Marazion sleeps 4

Pepper Cottage is centrally located in Marazion, a stone's throw from the beach, shops and pubs Newly decorated and carpeted. Sleeps 4 in one double & two single rooms, the cottage is ideal for couples/ small families. We have wifi, a smart TV enabled for Netflix, Freeplay, Prime etc, a washing machine and an open fire for cooler evenings. There is a private, walled garden with a table & chairs Between 1st April - 31st October changeover day is Friday The front door leads into a small lobby with coat hooks, and on into the cosy sitting room with 2 comfortable 2 seater sofas, coffee tables and a new smart TV with Freeview. There is an open fire for cooler evenings. A door leads to the kitchen with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dining table and four chairs. There is a door to the rear garden and stairs to the first floor. The pretty garden has a table and chairs and a side access leading to the front of the property. There is a shed with some buckets & spades and windbreaks for use on the beach. Upstairs there are two single bedrooms to the front, one with a wardrobe and bedside table. The other with a bedside table and hanging rail/shoe rack. There are glimpses of the sea from these rooms. The double bedroom is to the rear and has two steps down once in the room. It is furnished with 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe and chest of drawers The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a basin and WC. Our broadband package is BT Fibre 1 Download speed 48 - 50 Mbps (with minimum guaranteed speed of 40 Mbps) You will enjoy exclusive use of the whole cottage and the private outside space. Unfortunately I am unable to meet you personally at the property. However there is a folder inside containing emergency numbers and other useful information for the cottage and I am of course contactable by phone or email if you have a problem. Marazion is a wonderful, friendly little town famous as the gateway to St Michael's Mount, one of Cornwall's most iconic landmarks. As the tide ebbs, the causeway magically appears allowing one to walk across to visit this incredible place. Keen walkers will love it here too as the South West Coastal path passes by and Marazion Marsh RSPB nature reserve is also close, home to a variety of wetland birds. Bring your binoculars (also useful for spotting dolphins and seals out in the bay!). There are numerous gift shops and galleries here, a post office/convenience store and the beach is safe and sandy, with an adjacent play area. Ideal for young families. There are many options for eating and drinking here. From the Godolphin Hotel with its stunning views of St Michael's Mount and numerous friendly pubs and cafes. Or why not pick up a delicious pasty from Philps and enjoy it on the beach? There is a long stay car park approx 300 metres from the cottage. A weekly pass costs £50 It is possible to pull up outside the cottage to unload bags etc and then park. If you don't have a car, trains run directly from London Paddington to Penzance which is 3 miles from Marazion. If you don't want to use the car, there are great bus links (the bus stop is close by) to Penzance, St Ives, Lands End etc. Buses run frequently. Another lovely trip is to drive to St Erth Station and get the train to St Ives. This is one of the prettiest train rides in the whole of the UK (try to sit on the righthand side of the train for the best views). Like most properties in Marazion, we have no private parking. The long stay car park is a level 5 minute walk. Weekly tickets cost £50 We accept bookings for a minimum of 7 nights between Easter and the end of October. The cottage is not suitable for children under 5. There is no high chair or travel cot. There are no stair gates and the stairs are uncarpeted. We have a strict no smoking policy. One small dog may be permissible at a cost of £25 per dog, but please message to get confirmation before booking.
