Lyrebird Lodge Forest Retreat

Lyrebird Lodge is a fully self-contained mud brick cottage in a tranquil bush setting on the foothills of Gulaga/Mt Dromedary just fifteen minutes drive from the historic village of Central Tilba and the scenic coastal town of Narooma. Catering for couples or groups up to six, the lodge features three bedrooms - loft with queen size bed, second bedroom with queen size bed, and third bedroom with two single beds. There is also a large open lounge and dining areas, kitchen and BBQ facilities on verandah over looking rainforest gully, a bathroom, TV and DVD. At night you can relax by your own camp fire. Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage and grounds. The Lodge is on 150 acres of spotted gum forest and there is a walking track through a rainforest gully. Dogs are requested not to go inside the Lodge. Activities in the immediate area include bush walking (just 2km to Gulaga/Mt Dromedary access road) mountain biking (Mt Dromedary) and canoeing/kayaking (just 5km to Punkalla Creek access). Things to Bring: binoculars for bird spotting, camera, mountain bike, kayak/canoe, walking shoes. For the mountain bikers, we have four routes mapped out with written directions, all leaving from Lyrebird Lodge (Website hidden by Airbnb) Dogs are welcome at Lyrebird Lodge but are requested not to go inside, there is a large covered front verandah where they can bed down.
