EarthShip Daintree with Ocean Views Off The Grid

Built into the top side of a hill is a cosy 1 bedroom unique to the Daintree, EarthShip . It is truly one of a kind with magnificent views over the Daintree rainforest and the Coral Sea. It is fully self contained, including a roof top lawn , plunge pool and covered BBQ area. This accommodation is for the "Adventures Travelers" it has a very steep sealed drive way winding up the side of the Alexandra range, AWD VEHICLE RECOMMENDED. There is parking in the lower section if not confident When you reach the top you will find one of the best views of the Daintree rainforest through to Cape Tribulation and the Coral Sea, you can actually see where the rainforest meets the sea from the EarthShip , roof garden and new plunge pool You will be totally off the grid but with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay in the jungle. It is completely solar powered so conserving of power is advised. Inside it is fully self contained and modern, it has been built into the side of a hill which makes it cooler than outside. It is a compact designed building. Floor plan is kitchen dinning, lounge, bedroom and bathroom with under cover veranda on the lower level (see pic) with a grass covered roof top covered BBQ area with out door setting. - It is fully screened -Solar powered -Free Wifi -Tea and coffee milk and sugar cooking basics pepper, salt, olive oil is also supplied Water for the EarthShip is fed from a pristine underground water supply Fresh towels and sheets are also provided This a very unique accomodation, we have had guests that have travelled the world and have told us that this place is simply amazing and completely different to anything they have seen in their travels. We tend to agree this is the main reason we have chosen to share this with others. Inside you have access to remote area TV and a collection of movies on a hard drive, also there is a bluetooth speaker system. NBN Internet on wifi, fans in bedroom and lounge, fully screened to keep the bugs away. Air conditioning comes on between 8 pm and 10 pm When automated generator comes on to filter pool and top up batteries Access to veggie garden if in season. There is some fantastic beaches to explore The Cow Bay Hotel an Floravilla ice cream is walking distance Crocodylus Village Resort is also a short distance away where u can book a number of activities including night walks reef trips etc. Highly recommended by previous guests are the Ocean Safari turtle cruise to Mackay reef and Jungle surfing which is located in Cape Tribulation. There is no public transport in the area. It is recommended you hire a AWD vehicle, which not only makes access to the EarthShip easy, but can be used for a adventurous trip up the coast road to Cooktown. A two wheel drive can negotiate the drive way if dry, care should be taken. The Cow Bay beach is about 3.5 km at the end of Buchanan Creek road. Dont forget your supplies in Mossman on your way. Mossman has a Woolworths supermarket that is open late most days. If you do forget something there is a small IGA supermarket about 3 km from EarthShip.
