Guests have full access to the garden and heated saltwater pool. We provide free Wi-fi and parking (the property is less than a minute walk from the village's centre and the main free parking lot). Jardim do Mar (Portuguese for garden of the sea) is a civil parish in the western part of the municipality of Calheta in the Portuguese island of Madeira. The population in 2011 was 204, and approximately 3 kilometres (1.86 mi) northwest of Calheta. Jardim do Mar is famous in the world of surfing, which considers it a surfing paradise. It is known for being the best spot for surfing in Madeira. The village offers other interesting alternatives to those who enjoy sports, such as hiking, swimming, and sailing. The lovely landscape of this small town is quite inviting. The sea is of a deep blue and the little houses full of flowers stand out in the landscape of narrows pathways, vineyards and banana plantations. Due to the construction of the new access tunnel to the village the primary road is closed which leads to the usage of the alternative road which can add 15/20 minutes to the journey in and out of the village.
