Luxurious, self contained rural retreat.

Peaceful with views of the countryside and pool with own deck area, this room is both quiet and self contained for you to enjoy. We welcome one and all to our "sanctuary" where you can relax, reflect and reinvigorate yourselves for the day ahead. The rural life is all around us yet you are only 5 minutes drive away from the centre of Cambridge. It's central to many NZ attractions...Lake Karapiro (rowing), Hobbiton (Lord Of The Rings), Avantidrome (cycling), Waitomo Caves,The Arts and much more. Your bedroom has a king sized bed, with your own ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. You have a TV with freeview. There is a barfridge, microwave, toaster & kettle, for you to enjoy the provided continental breakfast at the table or outside on the poolside deck. There are extra towels and bathrobes for you when you relax in the spa or have a swim in the pool. We are normally around to talk with you and help you enjoy your time here. You have your own access and a key during your stay. There is good free parking. The BnB is self contained and quite separate from the remainder of the house where we live. If you need us for anything you can press the buzzer by the door to our end of the house. Mike and I are both friendly people who enjoy meeting new people. We want to make your stay with us as pleasant as we can. We love to travel so feel free to share your experiences with us if you wish. We respect your privacy. Our home is set out in the country which means it is peaceful and quiet and in a very safe neighbourhood. It is only 5 minutes drive to centre of town. Because of its central location, Cambridge is a great base for staying and making day trips to many popular tourist places within about an hours drive. You will need your own transport because we are not on a public bus route. There is plenty of parking. While you are here you may choose to relax out on the deck or wander round our garden and of course there is the salt water pool to enjoy. The spa operates from April to November inclusive. Our laundry is available to you when we are home which is a lot of the time.
