Beautifully Located Static Caravan Ilfracombe

Our caravan is situated in the 5* Award-Winning Hele Valley Holiday Park. The park is set in beautiful surroundings and includes a nature walk and play area for children. It is only a short walk to Hele Bay (with its pub and convenience store), one mile from Ilfracombe and 5 miles from Woolacombe. Dogs are welcome for no additional fee. If you book, please mention if you are bringing a dog. The caravan is located in a quieter plot at the edge of the park, away from the internal road and next to a stream. It is equipped with a television, kitchen, a shower room and its own private decking. Prior to your stay, you will receive a key code which enables you to open the entrance barrier and safe key lock box. Hele Bay has a lovely sheltered beach, with a beach cafe called 'Snacking Kraken'. and the Hele Bay Pub, which both serve excellent food. There is also The Corn-Mill Tea Room which is great for cream teas and cakes. There is an 18 hole Golf Club is less than a mile away. The seaside town of Ilfracombe is one mile away, which offers plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes as well as amenities like a cinema, swimming pools and a beautiful Harbour. Our personal favourite is the George and Dragon pub on Fore Street, which is the oldest in the town and friendliest! (People are guaranteed to talk to you if you have a dog!) For surf and golden sands, Woolacombe Beach is approximately 7 miles away. There are also other fantastic beaches at nearby Saunton Sands, Croyde (not dog-friendly during the Summer) and Westwood Ho! There are regular buses to surrounding towns and areas and a taxi to/from Ilfracombe is only £4-£5 (double on a bank holiday). Walking into Ilfracombe normally takes approximately 15 minutes. However, there is a pathway which starts next to the Swimming Pool and works its way down to the harbour. This cuts off a few minutes and offers some beautiful views. There is a very well-stocked shop at Hele Bay Garage (2-minute walk) and local supermarkets Tesco and Lidl are only a short trip by car. (Tesco are willing to deliver to the Holiday Park with prior arrangement.) There is also a laundry room located at the right side of the Reception with commercial washing and drying machines, tokens can be purchased from Reception. Opening times are from 9.00am - 5.00pm daily during the main season and Monday - Friday in off-peak times.
