We endeavour to welcome all. The garden is perfect for relaxing in the sun as it’s south facing, you can eat your breakfast on the decking which has direct access from the bedroom and if your really daring an early morning dip can be the order of the day in your heated pool. Private parking. Maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome. We do ask that pets are not left alone in the gîte, or the garden unless they have a dog cage. Also that they don’t sit on the furniture or bedding. Dogs must have current protection against fleas and ticks. From 2019 there will be a charge of 5€ per night per dog. You access the gîte at the end of the driveway and once through the gates the garden is fully enclosed. Thereby offering privacy and secure parking if you choose to leave items in your car. The gîte is indépendant from the main house. I will be available to welcome any guests and show them around the property. We live close by. Our cosy retreat is conveniently situated in a pretty Breton village on the banks of the River Blavet. The area is ideal for walking and cycling we have two bicycles exclusively for the use of guests. Electric bikes, boats, kayaks, paddle boards and pedaloes can be hired in the village from the small local shop. Every morning at about 8.20am, with the exception of Monday, a mobile baker stops close to the cottage selling crusty bread, croissants and other patisseries. We are within an easy drive to many places of interest in Brittany whether you like quaint towns, colourful markets, historical monuments or safe sandy beaches. There are wonderful restaurants nearby. A car or other transport is necessary as there is no public transport in the village. We have two small very friendly dogs . Also on Bastille day July 14th saint Nicolas has wonderful celebrations, street market, music and finishing the day with firework display. In Saint Nicolas they are in the process of creating a nautical centre for canoeists/kayakers . We now have French and English satellite TV.for our guests.
