A modern four bedroom house, less than 2 kilometers away from the beach, perfect for a romantic sunset walk. It's a cosy home with a braai* inside, a weber outside as well as an inside fireplace which is perfect for cold winter nights. The house consists of four bedrooms of which three are ensuites. The kitchen is equipped with state of the art Whirlpool appliances, including two ovens, a convection oven (microwave), coffee machine and dishwasher. the garage can take two big motor vehicles. Upstairs: An open plan kitchen, living area and bar counter walking out on a spacious balcony. Room 1 is upstairs as well as a separate bathroom (half bath) upstairs. Downstairs: Room 2, 3 and 4 of which two are ensuites is located downstairs. Room 4 is perfect for couples traveling with kids and an extra bed/beds can be inserted at a cost, if required. There is a bathroom with a shower as well as a separate lavatory in the corridor. *Braai: A South African term for a barbecue with wood. I will be available for anything from the meet and greet, check-in, emergencies up until checkout. Hermanus is a 10 minute drive from Onrus. It is famous for whale watching as the cow (female) whales come extremely close to the shores seeking warmer temperatures, just before they give birth to their calves. Along with al the scenic routes , there is many other activities like deep sea fishing experiences, wine tours and a close by shopping center. Onrus has a beautiful boardwalk leading to the beach which passes various rock pools if you feel like taking the scenic route. A motor vehicle is however a must for transportation as the Hermanus area offers very little public transportation services.
