Family friendly farm house (Private Pool)

Come and enjoy our wonderful farm house lovingly restored by my architect husband providing up to date living conditions but retaining many original features. Ideally situated for exploring northern Portugal and Spanish Galicia although lazing round the pool or relaxing on the very private patio are tempting alternatives. PRIVATE POOL Traditionally build thick stone cottages, lovingly restored to create a fabulous atmosphere for your holiday. Sit outside all day long, on one of the various patios, shaded by vine leaves, or go and lei on the lawn to soak in the sun. When too warm, jump in the pool, or go inside where it’s always cool. Other than the bells from the local church to ensure you know time is actually passing by, you may be distracted by the cows in the fields down the valley, there is the occasional car going by, and at rush hour, maybe two. You will be hard pushed to find a more tranquility place, yet, 10 in the car, and you have everything you could wish for. As there are two cottages, and we are in a position to add extra sleeping areas for bigger parties if so desired. After 5 guests in the Farm House will add the Lagar (an extra cottage €15/night) for up to another 5 guests. The Lagar has a double bedroom and a large lounge with ample sleeping space. Please check out our other listings for details. Pretty much anywhere, with the exception of the obvious back office spaces, given you are on holiday, unlikely you will miss them. I try to be present for the guests arrival when possible, although I do not live there, I’m not that far away, so anything you need, please ask. In the immediate neighbourhood there is little more than a few houses, a church and a bandstand, but up the valley you can find Paredes de Coura, a small but very picturesque town, there is not much you cannot find there. However, if you fancy a bigger place, down the valley is Ponte de Lima, here you can truly find anything you want. However much you like hiking, a car is an essential tool to have on hand Remoer to enjoy the house, the area and Portugal, that is what you are visiting for
