It can accommodate 6 guests - 1 bedroom (Queen), 1 loft (Queen) & 1 futon. - Direct waterfront access - 56ft. aluminum dock for fishing or chilling over the lake - Six kayaks, one canoe and life jackets available for use - Big, oversized deck overlooking the lake with patio furniture & table, plus propane gas BBQ grill - Big, open yard to set up your tents, outdoor games, etc. - Open fire pit to enjoy Smores & the night sky THE COTTAGE: - Completely renovated, open concept cottage with cathedral ceiling - Lakefront bedroom with Queen bed - Oversized loft with Queen mattress - Futon - full size - 50" Samsung Smart TV - Internet / WiFi available, no cable - Brand new, spacious full bathroom with shower, plus washer and dryer - Brand new SS kitchen appliances - No dishwasher - No A/C. Ceiling fan and several fans available for use - Coffee is provided, though feel free to bring your own - Septic system: only toilet paper (less is better, haha) and human wastes - Trash and recycling dumspters: located at back of the house - Well: since we have well water, please be mindful of water usage We are pet-friendly & welcome well-behaved pets. $50 pet fee per stay for maximum of 2 dogs. Let us know if you're bringing your pet. Pet bowls for food and water are available. We have a pair of resident bald eagles and Maine loons. - 3 miles from Canaan (Dunkin Donuts, Irving gas station & Canaan Superette) - 6 miles from Pittsfield center (Shop N Save supermarket; Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Walgreens, Family Dollar, Renys, etc.) - 10 miles from Newport (Walmart Supercenter, Crescent Lumber, Tractor Supply, Dollar Tree, restaurants, etc.) - 1.5 hours to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park - The pontoon boat is off limits and not included - Garage and shed are not to be utilized by guests - Assumption of liability: if you accept & book a reservation, you assume liability for yourself, your guests & your pets for the use of the house, deck, kayaks, canoe, life jackets and dock, etc. at your own risks while on our property.
