Our Safari tent interior is uniquely decorated. 60 luxurious square metres with a woodburning fireplace, ceiling fan, encompassing a full bathroom with flushing toilet, large antique vanity and claw foot bath with hand shower over. Bath salts provided, enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the picturesque billabong . Awake in your queen bed nestled in quality linen to the sounds of the whip bird or kookaburra with a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Breakfast on the good sized deck and BBQ at night. We supply a mini bar that you can buy beverages from should you go short or just want to treat yourself. Guests can roam amongst 40 of the 50 acres, down to the seasonal creek and through what we call "the Harry Potter Forest". You can take a picnic down to sit overlooking one of the dams. Occasionally we will have a communal bonfire or you can sit and enjoy your own campfire near to your tent. We leave guests to experience the glamping on their own and respect their privacy but they can always contact us if they need to. We live on the property too so we are usually near at hand if needed Set in the lush green valley of Obi Obi we feel as if we are a million miles from anywhere but we are just 20 minutes to Montville and 25 minutes to Maleny with all their shops and restaurants. The Sunshine Coast beaches are just 30 minutes and Kenilworth is 10 minutes away Lots to see and do in and around the Obi Valley: Kenilworth Cheese Factory and Kenilworth 1kg Donut Challenge Mapleton Falls and Kondalilla Falls are both spectacular after rain The great Walk hiking trails through the National Forest. Montville and Maleny are both superbly pretty hinterland towns to explore. Charlie Moreland in the National State Forest beyond Kenilworth to laze in the Mary River or explore Fig Tree Walk just past Kenilworth. Enjoy a glass of wine at Flame Tree Winery or if craft beer is your choice of drink visit the Brouhaha Brewery in Maleny and the micro brewery at Terella North Arm. For great breakfasts you can't go past Nana McGinns at Kenilworth or the Edge at Montville. There are some pretty great places for evening meals: if you want an experience to remember go to Altitude or Spicers Clovelly at Montville or Spicers Tamarind near Maleny. The Spirit House is also a firm favourite and beautiful surroundings. The range is full of wonderful curiosity shops and great little coffee stops everywhere. We are 8 minutes from Mapleton which has fuel and an IGA, Chemist, Bakery, School and Doctors surgery. 20 Minutes Montville and 25 Mins to Maleny 15 Mins to Kenilworth 35 mins to Maroochydore and the beach 50 mins to Noosa (we do it often!) We welcome last minute bookings but also advise travel insurance where possible to protect yourselves. If a lockdown is enforced on the day of your travel we can accept guests as long as they register their check in with us before the lockdown starts and can stay for the duration of their booking. We can always accommodate essential workers. Access is via a good gravel driveway. We regret that due to safety issues no young children are allowed. We do not allow pets as we have our own dogs who love a pat. Bags of outdoor firewood and a firelighting pack can be purchased for $15.00 per bag but please feel free to bring your own firewood if you prefer.
