Situated 2 hours from Los Angeles, and less than an hour from the Desert, in the pristine San Jacinto Mountains, up an easy paved road and 10 mins from Idyllwild's restaurants and shops. Here lies this 5 bedroom, 3 bath custom designed Alpine-style Chalet. A true paradise... A sprawling great room with soaring ceilings and stone fireplace - game night beckons! - massive wrap-around covered porch with magnificent postcard panoramic views, enchanting open kitchen and spacious cork-floored yoga/meditation studio with room for 10-12 people - with direct access to a large redwood deck and bubbling hot tub (under the shade of a mature oak tree). On 1.3 wooded acres with easy passage to hiking trails, this heavenly retreat is not only suitable for grand and/or intimate gatherings of family and friends, it is also a highly sought after retreat destination, suitable for Yoga, Mindfulness, and corporate retreats and workshops. Able to sleep up to 14 guests with upscale accommodations designed for comfort and relaxation, with on-site parking for up to 6 cars. This property features multiple indoor and outdoor areas gathering areas, including a large covered porch to enjoy outdoor dining or yoga with breathtaking sunset views, plus another large redwood deck with a wood-clad hot tub under the shade of a live oak tree. Guests will have access to a spacious great room with a stone fireplace and a flat screen tv with Roku video streaming services. You will also enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and large dining table. Laundry facility and supplies are available. There is a small gas station and well stocked convenience store a couple of minutes away. We provide some mats for guests, and can also facilitate local yoga teachers to lead a class upon request for an extra charge. Self -check in is by door lock code provided before check in. The Property Manager is available via message or phone to answer any questions. No public transit available. The layout of bedrooms, beds and baths is as follows: Upstairs- Master Br. 1 king, 1 Pull-out available. Br.#2- 2 twins. Nook with a comfortable sofa. Living room- 2 comfortable sofas. Conversation nooks with L shaped sofa 2 baths upstairs. Downstairs- Sofa bed in common entry area. Br. #3- 1 queen. Br. #4- 1 queen (and private porch/deck). Br. #5- 3 individual bunk beds + 1 double bunk bed. 1 bath downstairs. Guests will have access to a spacious great room with a stone fireplace and a flat screen tv with cable & Roku programming. You will also enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and a large dining table. Laundry facility is available upon request. Outside you will find ample parking on the level driveway for 3 cars (street parking for 2-3 cars as well), multiple covered view porches with lounge seating and dining tables and views. You'll also have access to a wood clad hot tub and adjacent shady deck under a live oak tree. Available by phone or message to answer any questions. Located in a quiet residential area on a paved and well maintained country road 10 minutes away from Idyllwild village. There is a nice convenience store and gas station nearby. Hiking trails are nearby and access to the National Forest. An 'Adventure Pass' is required to park at many trailheads. These are widely available at local stores. 'Wilderness Permits' are available at the local Ranger Station. No public transportation available. 1. Additional guests after 8, including children (but not infants), will incur a $50 per person, per night extra fee. Additional guests are only allowed after property manager's approval. 2. Pets are allowed only WITH PRIOR AUTHORIZATION. There is a $100 pet fee per dog. No cats allowed. Please bear in mind that pets should not be left alone in the house at any time unless 'crated'. Also pets should be kept off the soft Yoga Studio cork floor at all times. Pets should be on leash outside at all times. Please pick up waste after your dog on the property or street.
