You can reach by foot Cerro, (5 minutes by car, 25 min. on foot)and the MIDEC, the International Museum of Ceramic Design with a permanent collection and temporary exibitions, workshops for children and ceramics courses. Laveno, Luino, Intra by car and Stresa, the Borromean Islands, Arona and the Switerland by ferry-boat. Lugano, Switerland, is only 50 minutes from Villa Maria, by car. Reno è collegato da un autobus a Cerro, Ispra e Laveno, ma occorre consultare attentamente gli orari perchè le corse sono poche. The flat isn’t suitable for children from 1 year to 7 owing to the mezzanine. It’s suitable for babies not walking and for children over 7 more responsible!
