Orchid Yurt

Set in a perfect location just ten minutes from the miles North Cornwall's beaches. The Yurt has been lovingly furnished with beautiful rustic wooden furniture & the grounds have some fantastic facilities to enjoy including a shared outdoor heated pool and hot tub. A stay in a Yurt is far from your average holiday, where else can you feel so close to nature and be tucked up in a warm, comfortable bed by the end of the day! Each Yurt has been lovingly furnished with beautiful rustic wooden furniture. Orchid Yurt, Sleeps 4 people in a 5 metre Yurt and features :- 5 Foot double bed (King size) with fresh cotton sheets 2 Single Futon Beds Wardrobe Four Drawer Chest Bed Trunk with fresh towels (1 bath towel & 1 hand towel per person) 40 inch flatscreen TV Round table with 4 stools Rugs Walk outside the Yurt onto a private decked area with seating and BBQ. * All Bedding and linen is provided for your stay, with a complementary linen change for stays of 14 nights+ (additional linen is not provided) We also provide 1 x bath and 1 x hand towel per person (Towels are not provided for the facilities or beach) and 1 x toilet roll per w/c and a small selection of tea and coffee for your arrival. *Please note the outdoor swimming pool is only open from the 30th March - 30th September. * Please note these yurts are small, if you think you would prefer a little more space we recommend booking our larger style 6 metre yurts Primrose, Poppy or Lavender The ‘Woodshed’ houses a communal kitchen where you will have access to a shared cooker and sink with each yurt having its own fridge and cupboard well stocked for your stay. In the kitchen there are 2 washing machines and 2 metered dryers. The building has separate men's and women's toilet and shower facility each having two shower cubicles, two toilets and two sinks with vanity mirror and sockets. We also provide a private disabled wash room and toilet. The grounds around the Yurts has some fantastic facilities to enjoy including an outdoor heated pool, garden and children's play equipment. From April 2017 a shared hot tub is available. Andy the onsite manager is always available throughout the day and if you have any other problems, we are just a friendly phone call away. Situated less than 1 mile from Goonhavern village that has a traditional Cornish pub and shop, the miles of golden sandy beaches are less than a ten minute drive away. The North Coast of Cornwall has an abundance of attractions like Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and the Eden Project nearby. Perranporth village is in close proximity and entices sunbathers, surfers and families with its three mile long sandy shores, where you and your family can have lunch in the Watering Hole pub situated in a prime position directly on the beach. The bustling and lively town of Newquay is a short drive away here you can experience the cool vibe of the surfing Mecca and perhaps even give it a go yourself. Centrally located in Cornwall, we are less than 3 miles from the A30. Newquay railway station is 5.6 miles away and we are 10 miles from Truro railway station, which is on the famous and beautiful south west line direct from London Paddington. There is a small airport at Newquay which recives daily flights from Gatwick Airport. The village of Goonhavern is on the main bus route from Truro to Newquay & Newquay to Truro which also passes through Perranporth. Taxi services are available from Newquay and Perranporth.
