Our home is about a 15 min drive from Canberra airport and a 25 min drive from the CBD (often known as Civic). We are inbetween the Monara Hwy. and the Kings Hwy. so travelling between Melbourne and Sydney we are convenient. On editing our home (24/10/2020) I have two gentlemen lodgers. Only one is in the house at weekends. He is very quiet and it should not be an issue. The room with the queen bed is available and the room with the double bed too. The house is on a lovely, quiet street with a reserve close by. Our own room/bathroom is at the front of the house. You will have virtually the rest of the house to spread out! We can interact with you or pretty much leave you alone! Full use of kitchen, fridge, cupboards, tea, coffee, milk etc. Kitchen, own bathroom, outdoor areas as well as the living area. Wifi is also available. Guests can use the whole house. I am out a lot. I have a toy box. There is a tv and dvd player for you to watch whatever you want. Parking outside our house or in our driveway, very easy. Breakfast will be provided if required. We have muesli and other cereals, toast, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, juice, tea/coffee We will be happy to have a chat and share a glass of coffee or wine together, but if you would prefer to be left alone, we are more than happy to give you your privacy. Please do not bring towels or shampoo/shower gel/toothpaste - all provided. The neighbourhood is quiet and feels very safe, whilst 15mins to the airport and 20 mins to CBD. Public transport is not good. Currently in contact with bus company since I put in a complaint ! Definitely have to have own transport If you wish to dine outside of the home there are various local restaurants and takeaways. Of course we are more than happy for you to use our kitchen if preferred. Unlike many Airbnbs these days, our price includes breakfast. I have cereal, porridge, toast, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, tea, coffee.
