Indigo Cottage, 1890s heritage cottage

Indigo Cottage is a charming, heritage cottage with interiors to match, providing a cosy, homely feel. Surrounded by decking designed to capture the stunning views on all sides and provide great outdoor living space. It has an open fireplace for those chilly cosy winter nights, and reverse cycle airconditioning/heating in each room. Built in the 1890's it has been beautifully restored to offer modern comforts. VIRTUAL TOUR and more information, photos available on our own site Inside the fully self contained house there are 2 queen bedrooms and one king bedroom which can also been made up into king singles. Each room in the house has an air conditioning and reverse cycle heating unit and there is an open fire in the living room for the winter nights. Dine inside the cottage or in the summer evenings enjoy a bbq on the covered deck outside while looking at the spectacular view of the Bull Rock. The cottage is set up for children, with games, books, DVDs and even a doll's house. There is off street parking in a small layby in front of the cottage. It is in a quiet area just 10 minutes walk away from the main street of the historic gold town of Beechworth. Note: Minimum three day bookings on long weekends Whole house and garden Nil unless you contact us. Quiet neighbours, lots of birds, fabulous views to the Bull Rock, which is part of the Gorge at the back. A bower bird often frequents our back yard. None We can also provide a breakfast hamper for you with muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, free range eggs, bacon, bread from the Milawa bakery , spreads, fruit juice, butter, milk, what more do you need! All from the Goldfields Greengrocer in Beechworth for $65. Let me know beforehand so that I can arrange for this to be delivered to the cottage.
