Trendy Tighes Hill! A comfy home from home!

A home away from home, close to Throsby Creek and the foreshore walk into the city of Newcastle. Comfortable and cosy, two bedrooms, gas heating, beautiful artwork and an eat in kitchen. If you're coming for work, just want a few day's city break or visiting relatives this is the place for you... Due to Covid19 you may be required to provide either a recent negative test result or a complete vaccination certificate. You have two large bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a comfortable living area, wifi and outdoor sitting deck. There are two bikes for guest use which can be taken on Throsby bike path all the way to the beach. Guests will have access to all of the house and garden except for a locked spare bedroom. This is our home and our belongings are in the house. Please respect our personal possessions. There will be wardrobe space for you to use. The pantry will be fully stocked but please only use if you have forgotten something. You are of course welcome to coffee, tea, sugar etc. We will not be on site but we will have a local contact person who will be able to help in an emergency if you are not able to reach us on eith (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) or (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Tighes Hill is a wonderful community with three local cafes, Birdy's, Praise Joe and Between the Lines. We have a great community garden close by in a large park on George Street for running and playing. Take our bikes and cycle into the city on the bike path Throsby Creek passing cafes and restaurants. Buses can be caught on either Industrial Blvd or on Maitland Road. We are within walking distance of Hamilton Station. There is plenty of parking available outside our house. During Covid 19 please be assured there will always be at least two days between guests and our cleaning procedures are enhanced using disinfectant according to Safework guidelines. This is an old house, one of the original BHP Manager's cottages built around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , although we have substantially insulated it , in the winter it can be a bit drafty. We supply door jams, electric blankets, gas heaters for the living room and kitchen, and a multitude of cuddly blankets. In summer there is a good through breeze and you can leave the front security door open together with the French doors in the breakfast area. Ceiling fans in every room help keep the temperature equable.
