A nice and well-kept villa in a residential area of Dodanduwa, Shrinith's is a great place for a small group to bunk down and enjoy Sri Lanka's Southern coast. Three double AC rooms share a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room. It has a big garden full of fruit trees and private pool. Mrs. Shrinith, you host, works as a preschool teacher. She lives opposite the home, together with her husband and two children. The house has been in the family for over 40 years and has been home to tourists often. All kinds of food, transport and activities can be arranged upon request. Your host’s English is limited, but sufficient. Dodanduwa is just south of Hikkaduwa, one of Sri Lanka’s most popular beaches. With the sea in front and the Rathgama Lake in the back, there’s plenty of things to do and see here, such as paying a visit to the Maya Viharaya Temple or taking a peek at the elusive Polgasduwa Island, home to a Buddhist monastery. Shrinith’s itself is located just 150 metres from Dodanduwa town, close to Hikkaduwa beach. We are committed to maintaining Airbnb’s Protocol on COVID-19 prevention, such as the use of personal protective equipment, like masks and gloves, as well as disinfectants that are approved by local regulatory authorities. Further, we keep our home empty for a set period in between stays, with no activity other than cleaning, to make sure that you have a safe and memorable stay with us.
