19th century townhouse, decorated to the highest standard in the centre of Aberfeldy. Large spacious room is situated on the 1st floor at the front of the property and sleeps 2 in a double bed and 1 in a single. Large double and single bed with bay window, very airy, with views down Kenmore St & the hills. Code operated lock, free standing wardrobe, seating, tea/coffee. Their own bedroom, shared kitchen and bath/shower rooms. Back door balcony access is through the kitchen. Washing machine is accessible for a small fee, payable on arrival. Only a phone call away. Aberfeldy is a pretty, lively town in Highland Perthshire. The town is situated on Scotland's longest river, the River Tay, and is home to The Birks of Aberfeldy, made famous by our national bard Robert Burns. Burns wrote a poem about The Birks in 1787 and you can follow the footpaths for 2 miles up to the Falls of Moness, where you will discover spectacular views! The town is also home to Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery which is open throughout the year, why not pop in and take a tour and a dram? The heritage exhibition is well worth a visit where you can learn more about John Dewar & Sons. You can also enjoy the unique experience of Aberfeldy Watermill, a bookshop, café and gallery housed in a listed former watermill. You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor adventures in this area. There are plenty local activity providers who can take you white water rafting, abseiling, gorge walking, canyoning, mountain biking or even a bungee jump! Situated at the crossroads, Aberfeldy, opposite The Black Watch Inn. Safe parking on Kenmore Street or Bank Street. Buses come and go hourly from the square (3 minutes walk) to Perth and Pitlochry where you can find the nearest train stations. Must be able to climb a short flight of stairs.
