Welcome to our traditional brick and flint farmhouse in a tranquil location surrounded by the rolling fields and woodland of our Dorset Farm. Hidden away yet only 10 minutes from Blandford and Bryanston School. Enjoy a delicious home made breakfast made with home grown produce and our own pressed apple juice. Eat in our beautiful garden in the summer or in the cosy kitchen with log fires in the winter. Enjoy stunning views and the endless walking on bridleways and footpaths through the forest We have a double room with your own bathroom opposite the landing but also offer a second bedroom with a double bed , if there are two couples of the same party wanting to book. Both rooms are next to each other with use of a private bathroom opposite the rooms. The primary room has a king size double and the other a standard double bed. Both have very comfortable mattresses and have wardrobe space to hang clothes. The duvets are feather and down, lots of down pillows and each bed is dressed with a throw and cushions and bed side lights. The bathroom has a power shower and a bath and is equipped with large soft towels, face clothes and soaps . There is a shaver socket and a full size mirror. There is ample parking right outside the house. Breakfast is served at the farmhouse kitchen table or outside in the Summer months . We grow all our own vegetables so a vegetarian cooked breakfast is also an option. We have our own free range eggs and our own honey. I make my own sour dough bread, granola and Museli with yogurts and stewed fruit. In the winter months the Jotul log burner is constantly glowing. You are welcome to sit in the garden and can use the tennis court subject to availability. It is an excellent location for walking, straight on The Jubilee Way, a National long distance bridleway but also lots of circular walking through forests and farmland. It is a great spot for cyclists, especially mountain biking with direct access onto the Sturminster to Blandford Trailway and again on forest gravel tracks. The Okeford Hill Bike Park is near by and can be accessed on bridleways direct from the farmhouse. Our beautiful garden for outdoor sitting in the Summer. Tennis Court Bridleways for walking and biking from the door. Jules the host and her husband live in this farmhouse and will be on hand at all times. Secluded Countryside. Next door to Bryanston School and the local village of Stourpaine and Durweston. Drive to us up a single track tarmac road with passing places. Very good cycling on Bridleways for miles around. Close access onto the Sturminster to Blandford Trailway Walking directly off The Jubilee Way. Local pub food at The White Horse , Stourpaine or The Cricketers, Shroton Tennis Coaching can be arranged
