White bright room, garden and view

This spacious and bright room is a space to relax. It can comfortably accommodate two people. Enjoy the spacious bathroom, view, access to the garden. You'll experience the calmness of Sèvres, just kilometers away from hectic Paris. Overlooking the garden, in the last of our two floors, is your room. Full of light in summer and winter, it is decorated in a white minimalist spirit. It has a comfortable bed for two people, bedside drawers, wardrobe, central heating and WiFi. On the same floor, to be shared with other guests when both of our rooms are booked, is the greenhouse bathroom. Equipped with a large shower, toilet and double sinks. It has a view on the garden and the buddhist temple nearby. We provide sheets, towels, hair dryer and soaps. In the morning you will be offered breakfast in our dining room, which is open to you for the rest of the day: tea, coffee, chat with us or watch tv. In summer, the hanging garden is open to relax, have breakfast or enjoy our small orchard: figs, strawberries, apricots, apples, plums and grapes. The first floor of the house and kitchen are not open to our guests. During your stay, we are always there to take care of you and meet your expectations. Generally, we like to share moments of conviviality with our guests, but also respect the desire of calm and privacy. You might certainly also meet Minette, the house cat, but only on the ground floor as she has no access to the rooms. Languages spoken at home are French, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. Our neighborhood is very quiet. Sèvres offers some touristic experiences, most notably the “Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres” which still produces Sèvres' porcelain and its famous blue pigment called “Bleu de Sèvres”. There is also a lot of nature around us: Parc de Saint-Cloud, Forêt de Meudon, Coulée Verte, Parc du Château de Versailles. A few minutes walk from our house is the food market of Sèvres, various supermarkets (Carrefour Market, Monoprix, Dia, Franprix ...), several bakeries and their delicious baguettes, shops, restaurants, cinema, theater, swimming pool and access to public transportation. In front of our house is the stop for the 171 bus line. In thirty minutes, it takes you to the palace of Versailles, and in eight minutes to "Pont de Sevres', the terminal of metro line n°9 which is our connection to the capital. A 15 minute walk away from our house, the suburban train station "Sèvres Rive Gauche" offers the possibility of going to Paris Montparnasse (center south of Paris) directly in 15 minutes. Same distance from our house, the suburban train train station "Sèvres-Rive-Droite" connects with Paris Saint-Lazare (center north of Paris) in twenty minutes. In public transport, count a bit less than an hour to reach the center of Paris. It is about twenty minutes by car or motorbike. You can rent a car in Sèvres with the AutoLib system - (URL HIDDEN) Vélib bicycles for rent are also available at Pont de Sèvres.
