“Romantic Bush Haven" , is an idyllic couples retreat, set on 5 acres, surrounded by magnificent bush, at the foot of Camp Mountain. Queen Bed, Tennis Court, Fire Pit, Gas BBQ & Large Swimming Pool with high dive rock. Lots of Birds, Native Animals & Bush Walks. Pets welcome as long as they don’t bother the wildlife. 5 k to Samford Village, IGA supermarket , hotel & cafes. Kitchenette includes large fridge/freezer etc. Free: WiFi, Netflix, (Hidden by Airbnb) Chromecast & Foxtel. Minimum stay 5 nights. Modern studio style stand alone unit , situated next to the main house on 5 acres with lots of birds & wildlife (you often see wallabies grazing early in the morning). Paved outdoor dining area with Gas BBQ, Fire Pit (and BBQ plate) , and there's plenty of free kindling available about the property. We also offer a generous amount of complimentary firewood. Fire pit must be supervised at all times (& or extinguished when finished) check with us re fire conditions or look on line at the “Samford rural fire brigades” web site. NOT AVAILABLE FOR LARGE PARTIES OR GROUPS. ANY VISITING CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES RE WATER FEATURE & LARGE DAM. Situated in a very quiet area in the heart of the Golden Valley at the foot of Camp Mountain, the unit is 5 minutes from Samford Village and 20 minutes drive from the magnificent Mount Glorious Lookout and National Park, with magnificent rainforest nature walks a plenty. Dine out at multiple nearby restaurants (with home delivery options by the Flying Nunn and Dominos). If you want to cook there is an kitchenette with microwave, an electric frypan, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker , single hotplate (only gets hot when loaded) , and a small saucepan. There is a pod style coffee machine. Because we’re only next door, we’ll do our best to help you out if we can. The drinking water is sweet tasting spring water, with rain water tanks as a backup. All waste water is recycled onto the gardens. The toilet is a bio-cycle , which also recycles onto the garden, so no foreign matter in toilet or sink please. The room is fully screened, has block out Luxaflex blinds, (careful they are delicate. Small tugs please), ceiling fan, ceiling insulation , solar activated whirly birds and reverse cycle air-con as well. The Large Deep swimming pool has a dive rock if you are game and the tennis court has a large shed (balls and rackets in the wooden box in the tennis shed). Access to the laundry in the main house available on request. Small pets welcome if they don’t chase wallabies. The carport is right at the front door and will keep two large vehicles out of the weather. Foxtel IQ4 is on HDMI 1 , pay movies and pay events available (please put payments in the tin in the second utensil draw). (Hidden by Airbnb) Chromecast HDMI 2 Netflix use our account or yours on HDMI 3. Large Swimming Pool with low dose chlorine system so the water tastes like fresh water. When it's too cold to swim , take a book , bask in the large deck and enjoy the serene bush setting. Tennis Court and Shed (available any time except Thursday morning and Tuesday and Wednesday nights (and a few other times that we can confirm on request) rackets and balls provided free, tennis court lights available at $10 per hour). Free 9 foot Pool & Snooker table. 2 Undercover car parks in front of the unit are both for you. Most guests prefer their own company, especially with the tranquil peace and quiet on this property , but we are keen for chat or a hit of tennis if you are. The unit is surrounded by lots of trees birds and wildlife. Situated at the foot of Camp Mountain Lookout and Nature reserve (inc bush walking tracks). Close to many other National Parks and Nature Reserves, (more info in the visitors manual in the unit). 5 km to Samford Village with lots of dining and retail options including IGA and the Samford Pub. 9 minutes drive from Topiaries Wedding Venue. 40 minutes drive from QTC the home of the Brisbane International Open Tennis Tournament Limited public transport , plenty of off street car parking available (large vehicles and trailers can be accommodated). Uber service is available about half the time unless you book ahead. Taxi Cabs are freely available. Samford Village is only 5 km away and has a large IGA. Chemist, Bottle Shop, and a range of smaller retailers, restaraunts and cafes. Please help yourself to drinks from the fridge in the unit or the tennis shed and pay cash in the piggy bank. 60 cm Flat Screen TV. Has spare USB and HDMI slots if you want to stream on the free WiFi. Foxtel IQ Satellite with lots of free movie channels and some already downloaded in planner. Please pay in cash in the piggy bank in the cutlery draw if you watch any pay movies. Block out curtains perfect for sleep ins.
