Positioned directly opposite Tatlows Beach and with the “Nut” towering behind, you will never be far from an activity, magnificent view, or savouring the perfect meal in town.This listing is for our Corinthian Suite, set at the rear of the house with views of garden and heritage properties. The suite has original restored high timber panel ceilings and timber floor, while the private ensuite has a heated tiled floor which continues through to the pebbled shower flooring. There is a heated towel rail as well as quality Sheridan towels and Sheridan bathrobes. An electric blanket is on the queen bed, which also has quality Sheridan sheets, while the room has a mini fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, wall mounted tv and cd/dvd player, privacy blinds and French-inspired decor. Free car parking is available on the property.There is a large commercial hot plate/bbq available for all guests to use undercover in the rear yard.There is a common lounge/dining area at the end of the hall where you will find comfortable seating and a small dining area, along with books, magazines, games, dvds and brochures on activities in the area. Ample outdoor seating is also available on the front verandah. We will make every effort to meet you when you first arrive and try to make you as comfortable as possible. If we are not available, or you wish to arrive out of hours should the room be available, we will be able to organise for you to access a key from a keysafe. Since we live only a couple of minutes away, we are always available if you need assistance with anything, so please don't hesitate to ask! We are positioned directly opposite Tatlows Beach - our guests are fortunate enough to hear the water lapping at the shore from their rooms. We are also within walking distance of the majority of the town’s attractions and also positioned at the base of The Nut (the plug of an extinct volcano standing approximately 150 metres high which formation was sighted by Bass & Flinders on their historic circumnavigation of Tasmania in 1798) whereby our guests have a birds-eye view of this most famous attraction. We are also in close proximity to Highfield House (a favoured location for wedding events), affording the discerning bride the opportunity to select a luxurious location for that special occasion. Our rooms have blackout blinds, which make it very dark when lowered - great for light-sensitive sleepers! When you stay with us you can rest assured that your beddings are clean as we launder everything that touches your skin; bedsheets, duvet covers and pillow cases.
