Ascoli Piceno’s surroundings are equally remarkable - reachable by car in just 25 minutes from the center of town is the splendid 1800m high Montagna dei Fiori and, in the opposite direction, the sandy beaches of the Adriatic with their myriad of unforgettable seaside restaurants. Villa Fortezza B&B takes its name from the Fortezza Pia, a castle on the hill that rises up right in the heart of the city. Adjacent to that spot is the Villa which was built by the renowned Roman architect Enrico Teodori in the contemporary style in 1967. The building was restored and redecorated in 2008/9. The villa has a large garden with conifers, fruit trees, lawns, a private car park and games for children. Inside there are ample and comfortable communal spaces, a large fire place and bedrooms with bathrooms that are luminous well cared for.
