Bluebell Grey is an enchanting beautiful cottage near Ilminster in Somerset. Traditionally thatched using water reed and wheat, this luxury cottage is part of a Grade-II listed 16th Century Old Rectory and epitomises the English countryside dream. The traditional hamstone property conceals the stylish and elegant interiors within. Guests will be greeted with a warm welcome from the owners at this self-catering cottage in the heart of Somerset. Feel at home with the luxuries contained throughout. I hope you find the photos and the floor plan provide a good idea of the space. The cottage is entirely on the ground floor. The main bedroom is at the south end of the cottage with a large window facing south and had a King Size bed. The view is across a field and up to the monument at the crossroads. The shower room is next door. The living area is central and has windows facing east and west, enjoying the morning and evening light (hopefully sunshine). The fully fitted and functional kitchen is off of the sitting room. The twin, OR, Super King bedroom is further on from the sitting room and has a west facing window with an en-suite shower and toilet. We are seeking guests looking for a minimum 5 day stay at Bluebell Grey. - Number of Guests - 1, 2, 3 or 4 - therefore number of beds required - Children OVER 24 months at time of visit ARE included as a paying guest - Children UNDER 24 months at time of visit are NOT included as a paying guest - Time of year Please note: the price shown is for the entire cottage, irrespective of number of guests. It is the same price for two guests as four. The space is safe for children to play and explore in; although climbing trees is fine with us, it is definitely at one's own risk. It won't disappoint. We have a an acre and a half garden, which you have full access to. We tend to use the patio and garden on the other side of the house. There is a separate private driveway for the cottage if guests prefer to use rather than the main drive. We live next door and are generally on hand to assist in every way we can. Cricket Malherbie is a small Hamlet consisting of twelve or so homes. The Land was once owned by Lord Beaverbrook. Urban legend has it that Lord Churchill planned the D-Day landings from Cricket Court. We are surrounded on all sides with fields and countryside. Deer, foxes and badgers are common sites in the garden. We feed the birds so there are plenty about. We're 7 minutes from Ilminster, which is a lovely town full of independent shops and cafés. Crewkerne is 15 minutes, which is another market town. it has an abundance of antique shops and it has a Waitrose :-)
