The Retro' Room

The Retro room is furnished with furniture that recalls the aesthetics of the 40s and 50s. It consists of a double bed and an additional single bed, plus space for storing personal things, bedside tables, blankets and additional pillows. It has two beautiful windows that make it bright and a small desk. The external large bathroom is shared with an other room. Four bycicles can be housed safely in a rack inside the building. The furniture is made with unique pieces, some of which belong to the history of my family, others have been added over time. I tried to make the environment welcoming, warm and at the same time functional. Guests have the keys that allow them to come and go as they please. Beside their private room and the private bathroom, they can use the large tables of the breakfast room and they have access to the terrace. At the basement of the building, in a safe place, there is a rack for up to 4 bycicles. I personally welcome my guests and then leave them free. I remain at their disposal for every problem or clarification. Cervignano is located in a strategic position for those wishing to visit the region. Halfway between the cities of Unesco Palmanova and Aquileia, but also near Grado with its beautiful beaches. The train station is an important hub that allows you to arrive in Trieste in 30 minutes, Venice in just over an hour in total comfort. In addition, Cervignano is a livable city, full of shops, with a nice walk along the river and surrounded by countryside. Strassoldo, just outside Cervignano, is a beautiful medieval village newly elected one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The B&B is located in the centre of Cervignano, 100 meters from the bus station, 10 min. walk from the train station. The Palmanova motorway exit is 10 minutes away by car. In front of the building there's a parking lot with disc parking (which is free at night) Free parking lots are within walking distance and a bycicle rack is available in a safe place inside the building. Apartment located in the centre of Cervignano. The two rooms ( Romantica and Retro') are separated from the private area. The environment is very warm and welcoming, furnished with care. Free Wifi, free return. In the apartment live (besides the owner) also two cats. We speak Italian, English and Spanish. The property uses eco-friendly products. Shampoo and soap available to guests are certified organic and have a low environmental impact.
