Philippe the Good’ is located on the ground floor of our grand Maison. The décor is themed in beige, creams and white with a subtle mix of colourful floral prints to provide a soothing and timeless ambiance. Furnishings include queen sized bed, quality linen, and ample wardrobe space. The ensuite bathroom is well equipped with a stand alone shower, vanity, toilet, bathroom linen and hair dryer. Located near Beaune in the heart of Burgundy, la Maison Chaudenay offers Bed and Breakfast, and Self-Catering accommodation within an atmosphere of quality, comfort and warmth. Our property consists of a 5 bed roomed B and B in our 1800’s ‘bourgeoise’ Maison; a separate Cottage, and Apartment; an imposing central courtyard, a spectacular 17th c wine press room and 2 acres of peaceful park and gardens. La Maison Chaudenay provides an authentic French countryside experience. We do not claim to be ‘nestled’ amongst vineyards, but a short cycle ride (and even shorter drive!) will take you to world famous vineyards such as Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Volnay. A full continental breakfast is provided in our dining room. Or you may prefer the comfort of our enclosed glass veranda as you endeavour to resist the fresh croissants or pain au chocolat! We will provide you with a set of ‘Welcome’ notes which contain a host of our personal recommendations. These range from the major attractions, to restaurants, to where to take your male partner to buy French lingerie!
