THE TRAM original 120 year old tram - NEW LISTING
THE TRAM - Come and stay in our 120 year old Tram NEW LISTING FOR 2019 This Tram is the bottom deck of what was a Double Decker. Built by the Wallasey Tram Company in 1902, been lovingly restored to offer bespoke holiday accommodation. The Tram has lots of original features and a few additions to include a woodburner, double bed, indoor/outdoor cooking, outdoor kitchen, lovely veranda with spectacular views across the valley to the distant welsh mountains. New bespoke bathroom area. The tram once had two spiral staircases at either end which provided access to the top deck, unfortunately, we only have the lower deck, however, the lower deck was much more opulant and this shows in the lovely attention to detail that was created when it was made in 1902c. It has carving, fret and filigre woodwork inside and lovely beveled glass quarter light windows, many of which still open. We have kept the inside uncomplicated to not interfere with the authenticity of this beautiful space. Inside is just one large space with a lovely new glass fronted woodburner, 5’ wide double bed (width of tram is 5’’ 10” so this is the length of bed), mains fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, table and chairs, radio, games, OS maps and all finished off with lovely silk curtains and LED lighting behind the air vents. One original bench seating. Outside there is a sink for washing up with cold tap, shelving with all your pots and pans, bins, gas camping stove and wooden work surface. This is all under the verandha that stretches around two sides of the Tram. Led lighting for outside dining with table and chairs, bench & Small patio area for bbq in the front and rear garden where the NEW bespoke flushing loo and hot electric shower is situated about 10 feet behind the Tram in its own building.
