On the doorstep to the Yarra Valley Wine region, this private home is set on 1 acre in a quiet culdesac and is popular with wedding & festival guests, family & pets stays, wine buffs and yarra valley explorers. Set atop a hill that offers the serenity of generous Yarra Valley views, the home is appointed to entertain. Pets are welcome including access to stables and electrobraid paddock. My home is your home for the duration of your stay to feel completely relaxed and comfortable. The home consists of two Bedrooms (each with Queen bed), Full Bathroom and separate powder room toilet that can be shut off from the rest of the house for privacy. There are three separate lounges that can be used as a quiet or entertaining spaces as well as a private study should work prevail. Kitchen (with stocked L’OR coffee station and exclusive Springhill Farm treats), Dining and Laundry complete. Outside there is ample space front and back to enjoy the Yarra Valley views with two rustic fire pits for lounging under starlit country skies and large outdoor table and entertaining area. My home welcomes pet stays with secured back and front yards. In addition there are two premium quality rubber floored stables within a safe and secure electrobraid paddock, you may find this the ideal stop over on your equine journey or new riding experience along the nearby Warburton rail trail. On the doorstop of the finest wineries, wedding venues, boutique breweries and restaurants, it’s but a short drive or Uber to begin your exploration of the magic the Yarra Valley has to offer. Whether you prefer local recommendations for the best the region has to offer or to explore and discover on your own, I am happy to help you plan your stay. The best way to get around is by car, however being in the winery region there are many private car services, taxis or uber to get you safely from home to winery and back. (Your host is also more than happy for drop offs / pick-ups if timing suits everyone’s schedule!) The home is 5mins drive from the Wandin start of the old historical Warburton Rail Trail, a popular and scenic Walking & Bike track peppered with cafes along the way. The suburbs of Lilydale and Coldstream are a 5min drive offering cafes, bars, restaurants and mainstream staples of Coles, Aldi, WoolWorth’s and department stores. The large Lilydale Lake precinct with kids playground, off lead dog park and run track is nestled conveniently behind the shops. Lilydale station is a 5min drive with a 50min train journey into Melbourne city. This is a no extended parties and no smoking home, I’m happy for you to smoke outside but not within the home.
