Worth a mention is the popular ‘Hooked and Cooked on Rooks’!! This fish & chip restaurant has rated highly in Melbourne’s street press since opening recently and is a must if you plan on a night in. El Rancho is in a desirable location perched between leafy parkland and a host of cafe’s, schools and shops. A sanctuary with modern appointments. Enjoy the private courtyard amongst some beautiful Dwarf Weeping Japanese Maples, Palms, Bamboo and Rare Succulents. This is a place you can restore some balance and relax. Comfortable outdoor furniture and a covered area to enjoy the outdoors in all weather. A gas bbq is just waiting to showcase your Masterfully crafted culinary style. Situated close to public transport equal distance between 2 train stations - a brisk 15 minute walk. Alternatively a bus stop 2 minutes away will get you to the station without the legwork. If you’re driving enjoy off street parking and the convenience easy access to Eastlink, Citylink and Peninsulalink. Travel time to the Melbourne CBD is around 20-25 minutes off peak. To drive to the Yarra Valley it’s around 30 minutes and 55 minutes to the Mornington Peninsula The property has been recently renovated and is set up exclusively for guest accommodation. The house and studio are available separately on different listings and until COVID-19 we hadn’t thought to list both dwellings together. We are gearing toward this combined listing as it offers guests the opportunity to travel with loved ones, work colleagues, and/or small groups. This ensures peace of mind for guests knowing the space is there’s to enjoy privately without the risk of sharing common areas with unknown groups. You’ll find the property inviting with attention to detail ensured. Relax on arrival with the ease of self check-in knowing everything has been ticked in the Covid-19 hygiene checklist. For whatever reason you’re travelling ‘El Rancho’ and ‘Studio Rancho’ are sure to provide the perfect base and temporary home. We don’t live on the property however an office and garage is located on the block. This is used at times during the week and access to the garage (left side of driveway) is required at all times. There is room for 2 cars in front of the house however please ensure the garage access is clear. We respect your privacy and whilst the back courtyard and dwellings are for the use of guests exclusively, Richie or a staff member may at times need to use the office or access the garage for machinery.. this shouldn’t upset your chi too much because the back area and garage is seperate with a fence dividing said areas. Feel free to say hi but we will do our best not to disturb you. Guests have exclusive access to both dwellings on the property. A private courtyard and deck at the front. Please ensure access to garage to the left side of driveway remains clear. We are here to help and are available by phone, email or through the Airbnb portal.
