Guests can enjoy the entire home We are only 5 minutes away so can be there if need us , or never see us if you prefer . Hawthorn East is an upmarket neighborhood. Everything is just an 80 yard walk from the home at the end of the Street: cafes, a salon, restaurants, convenience store, take away food, and the tram stop. The home is located very close to the corner of Toorak Road and Burke Road Hawthorn East Getting to the house is easy. It's located very close to the Monash freeway . The airport is approximately 40 min via the freeway if driving or taxi ($65-90 taxi/uber) . The airport freeway ( called the Monash Freeway) goes all the way from the airport to within about 1 km of the home. There are only two traffic lights between the airport and our home! By train there are options to Gardnier Station where you can get into the city in about 20 minutes. . The station is about a 10 minute walk from the home. From the airport you can get the airport shuttle bus ($18 per person) and train ($3.75 one-way per person) in approximately 1.5hr. Then there is the tram, with the tram stop 1 min walk away on Burke Road and routes 61, 72 and 51 available, taking you into the city in approximately 35-40 minutes depending on time and route/destination or taking 5 to 7 minutes up Burke Road to the shops , Camberwell train station , or 5 to 7 minutes the other way to Gardiner train station. We are flexible with check-in and check-out if there are no other guests for the day.
