Living on a boat is still exotic, even for the first time, even for 15 years! We have patiently built the rear studio in the spirit of the boat, which used to be the sailors quarters. The creation of the bathroom and the kitchen, removing overly cramped cabins has created a refined interior, with varnished wood and original details: the central pillar with rivets, sliding windows reminiscent of Lisbon trams, oak paneling… Contemporary comfort associated with a warm naval design between Art Deco and contemporary design. The boat is parked on a natural shoreline, well shaded in the summer. The street is a dead-end so the path is quiet. There are many kinds of animals in the river to delight young and old: swans, ducks, geese, and Marne is full of fish. This closeness to nature is our greatest asset. We have raised two, whom are already teenagers and now we have our youngest 4 years old. Waves, seasickness. Few boats pass on the Marne and the pitch is very soft.
