Lodge View Cottage

Lodge view cottage ,is a cottage with ground and first floor accommodation upstairs are 3 bedrooms one double and 2 twin , with a bathroom with bath and over bath shower there is an additional WC downstairs. along with a lounge , Kitchen diner with all appliances ,outside is a patio area where there are table and chairs and use of a BBQ. The cottage has WFI and car park at the side . It is situated in the beautiful valley of Quernmore on a working dairy farm. The cottage has 3 bedrooms one double and two twin. There is a bathroom upstairs which has toilet and over bath shower there is an additional toilet downstairs. There is a patio area for guests to use and there is patio furniture to use and a BBQ on request. There is also a small play area for children to use. As the accomodation is on a working dairy farm guests are requested to keep to the area immediately around the cottage and not wander on to the farm as it can be very busy with tractors and wagaons moving around so for the safety of guests we ask that they dont walk on to the farm. The cottages are very close to our home but were are aware that quests neeed time to relax and enjoy their stay, so were are available if required but if not will leave you to enjoy your stay. But if there are any problems wee are there to help. Quernmore is a very rural peaceful village , there are no shops, public houses within walking distance the nearest ones are approx 4 miles away. There is a local recreation club with a bowling green and tennis court .There is are some lovely walks near by and the climb up Clougha will reveal some fantastic views on a clear day There are some lovely places to eat in Lancaster and surrounding country villages, ask the hosts for recommendations. Quernmore is in a rural area and you would require a car to get around. The nearest town Lancaster is approx 4 miles away so if you dont have a car you would need to use a taxi from Lancaster Train or bus station the cost would be around 10-15 per trip depending on the time. There is very limited public transport in Quernmore there is a bus service only in the morning at 8am and return from Lancaster around 4pm. Monday to Friday for the school children. The cottage is on a working dairy farm so ,quests are asked to be respectful of this. There is a patio area to enjoy the view and peace ,and a BBQ if desired. Lancaster is a lovely town full of history ,the lune valley has some amazing villages and walks. Lancaster University is easily accesible from the accomodation.
