Large Studio in a Castle with a private beach
The studio is located in the Château de Salamon, which overlooks the Tarn valley and benefits from an exceptional view and environment. The omnipresent nature invites calm and relaxation. It has a private beach with pontoon, deckchairs. Many activities: walks and hikes from the castle, canoes (included in the rental), fishing (with or without a fishing license), cultural visits, etc. Great attention has been paid to the pleasure, relaxation and aesthetics of the place. The accommodation, bright thanks to its many glazed surfaces, is located in the basement of the castle on the Tarn river side. It therefore remains very cool in summer! Its outdoor space allows you to enjoy a magnificent view overlooking the Tarn. It has a private beach with jetty for swimming. It consists of a large modern kitchen equipped with gas hobs, a fridge-freezer and plenty of storage space. Two dining areas are at your disposal: on the kitchen side and on the private terrace. On the sleeping side, the accommodation has a cube bed for two people (160x200) which, curtains closed, transforms into a small cocoon for more privacy. The lounge area has a sofa bed (convertible into two 90x200 beds). A reading corner with chest of drawers for working completes the whole. The functional bathroom has a bath-shower and an 8kg washing machine. You also have access to the Hall (not private) which has a grand piano and a beautiful library (lovers of classical literature, thrillers and comics will be delighted). The easiest way is to come by car or train. The nearest station, the Albi-ville station, is located 50 minutes away. Possibility to pick you up and consult us). The nearest airports are Rodez (1h), Toulouse-Blagnac (1h35) and Montpellier (2h15). On arrival, you can bring your luggage right in front of the door with your car, but you have private parking at the entrance of the Château. A need, a question? We are at your disposal! If you like authenticity, history and aesthetics, Salamon Castle will seduce you at first sight. It is located near Lincou and Brousse Le Château, old villages topped with slate and lauzes, located in the heart of the Tarn valley. The valley remains poorly known and outside the main tourist routes, ideal for relaxing. The car or better yet, the electric bicycle. The area is not yet completely secure (free access to the Tarn, side rails to be designed, etc.): vigilance recommended with young children.
