Large double bedroom with view of rolling unspoiled countryside to the sea 4 miles away. Own bathroom (bath and shower). A light Continental Breakfast is available 8-9. An additional double bedroom is available upon request, at additional cost. Ample parking, wifi 25/10 Mbps. We are a working household so respectfully ask for quiet time 10pm-7am. Walks in the country start right at the door. Quiet, idyllic, perfect for R&R. LGBT+ friendly. We always welcome all guests warmly, but with a friendly reminder that this is not a hotel, but is our home, and that we are a working married couple. The rooms available are along a corridor with its own door, separate from the hosts' accommodation. There is a large private garden for relaxing as well as neighbouring fields, footpaths, woods etc. A dining room with a superb view is used in Summer for guests' breakfast, during the Winter guests can enjoy breakfast in their own room. Guests have the privacy of their own corridor with large bedroom and bathroom. They also have access to the garden and other outdoor space leading to walks across surrounding countryside. We both work from home so we are pretty much available 24/7. Located in the depths of the Cornish countryside, quiet rural tranquility with great country walks which start right at the house. Nearest south coast beach is 4 miles (Maenporth), north coast surfing beach 13 miles (Portreath) and Helford River for sailing 6 miles. Also easy road access to beauty spots on the south coast such as St Mawes & the Roseland, the Lizard, the Land's End and St Michael's Mount. The house is situated half a mile down a country lane off the A394 at Longdowns. Public buses do run on the A394 but you do really need a car. Distance to Falmouth is 5 miles and Truro 10. Arrive in style and well-rested at Truro mainline railway station which has a Night Riviera service to/from London Paddington every night apart from Saturdays. We have three friendly spaniels, however they are never allowed in the guest wing.
