The local town of Stanthorpe, 15 minutes away by bitumen road, is the heart of the Granite Belt and Queensland's premier wine growing region. The district has a rich diversity of agriculture and tourism and there are many local attractions for you to explore whilst visiting our region, including the many varied wineries that are scattered from one end of the district to the other, and the amazing Girraween National Park. The information centre in town can provide you with all relevant details. There are several winery tour companies that operate in the district. There is no public transport access from our cabin and we would suggest you will need your own transport. There are Winery Tour Companies that will collect you from the front gate for Wine Tours. Our property is approx 2.5 ha (5 acres) and is completely fenced. You may explore within the boundary. The cabin is tucked away amongst the rocks, bushland & trees. The short, dirt track leading to the cabin is a little steep in places. Whilst it is not necessary to have a 4WD or SUV, you may prefer it, if you have one. Neighbouring houses are about 500 metres away & not visible, making the cabin very secluded.
