Jason's Getaway- 1928 home with wheelchair access

We provide an affordable,comfortable rental for families, large groups and are wheelchair accessible. We cater to families with a variety of toys, puzzles, and games inside and swings, pool and sandbox outside. We offer DIRECTV and WIFI. We have 5 acres of spacious lawns and woods with a wrap around porch with seating and a large dining table. We have caretakers and their 18 year old son who stay in 2 upstairs bedrooms. They will be your hosts on site and will make you feel at home. A large 1928 home called Holly Hill was purchased in May 2015 by our nonprofit called Jason's Getaway. An adult and bunk room with connecting bathroom is downstairs. Upstairs are 2 additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The common areas include a playroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, reading nook, and wrap around porch. We have a wheelchair ramp and our third bathroom is ADA . We have recently added a bunkhouse which would sleep 2 additional people. Next to it is a meditative and farm fairy garden. A car is required to access the area. Usually I am available by phone or text if the guests have questions. We have a notebook of information and maps of the area in the adult bedroom's bedside tables. Near the front door there are maps of the area to rip off the pad and to take with you when exploring and lots of pamphlets of nearby areas and restaurants are in the top two drawers of the dining room hutch. We are just a few miles from Interstate 40 and can be accessed from either Exit 90 or 94. We are located directly on Highway 70 so we are very accessible. We are 5-10 minutes away from the two Lake James state parks, 20 minutes from Tom's Creek waterfall and less than 30 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also have 4 wineries less than 10 minutes away. To access the area you will need a car. There is lots of parking at the house. The base rate/night is for a family or group up to four people (using up 2 bedrooms.) However, for larger groups or families wanting to utilize 4 bedrooms it's $9/additional person. We are on Highway 70 directly across from an Italian restaurant called Roma's. We do sit up on a hill away from the road but due to trucks with loud mufflers and motorcycles it can occasionally be noisy when sitting on the porch. So if you want a peaceful retreat in the mountains, this may not be the place for you although inside the house it is very quiet. In the winter when there are no leaves on the trees in the backyard woods you can see the Blue Ridge Mountains north of the house, but in the summer you can not see them from the house due to the thick foliage.
