Here you will find a secure, clean room which has morning sun. You will share your own private little bathroom with only one other Airbnb guest if booked in at the same time. The entrance to your room is via the back yard. You have shared kitchen and living areas in the the main apartment and these are easily accessed through the kitchen door. I plan to be only as interactive with you as you need me to be. I have lots of written information which you can go through at your own leisure after which I can give friendly advice and offer more help if required. I am a trained and experienced tour guide! Hopefully you will feel at home here and share times with us around food and fire. If you wish me to take you on an excursion, we can work out a budget. Welcome to Muizenberg! Muizenberg is a seaside suburb in Cape Town. Here the beach is long and white, the waves are kind and sea is warmer and so is our hospitality! A shopping centre, pharmacy, library, surf shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops are all within walking distance from the house, as are the train stations on the line into the city centre and this allows you to be independent. You can shop for provisions at the local shopping centre, find out about surf/kite lessons at the many surf shops, buy arts and crafts in historical Palmer Road, eat the freshest fish and chips at the sea, enjoy slow breakfasts at one of the many trendy restaurants, cafes and coffee shops, experience the local vibe at our Friday night market, limber up at a yoga studio and so much more - and all this within walking distance of the house! This environment is just bursting with possibilities. We are outdoors people and really enjoy what this area has to offer us and we will enthusiastically help you plan your itinerary while you stay with us. Whether it is doing something on our doorstep like swimming, surfing, kite-surfing or watching whales from the beach, canoeing or fishing on our Zandvlei tidal estuary, hiking up our mountain, browsing through quaint shops in Kalk Bay, visiting the picturesque fishing harbour or visiting one of Cape Town’s favourite tourist destinations such as Cape Point, the penguins at Boulders Beach, Table Mountain Cableway, a winelands or township tour, or Kirstenbosch Gardens, we have all the info for you and will help you as much as we can to get the most out of these excursions. Muizenberg and False Bay stations on Metrorail's Southern Suburb's or Cape Town - Simonstown line are within a 10 minute walking distance from the house. From the airport you could take an Uber taxi (recommended) straight to the house or get on the shuttle bus into the city and from there a train to Muizenberg using the Southern Line. This is strictly a no smoking house. This is an enviro-friendly house, so please help us save water, electricity and recycle your rubbish where possible. If possible, please could you arrange your arrival on a weekday as I would like to be able to spend some weekends away from the house. This is self-catering accommodation. Friends sleeping over not allowed. If you spend nights away from Silver Court, you will still be charged the daily rate for the room you have reserved.
