Les Bouts de Rallé Chambre d'Hôtes: Sunset Room

'Les Bouts' is a beautifully renovated farmhouse set in secluded grounds of over 5,500 square metres with private, gated access. A lot of love and care has gone into turning our home into a warm, welcoming and beautiful place to stay. Our Sunset bedroom has its own balcony and is approached by a private external staircase. Twin patio doors allow a stunning view of the sun as it goes down behind the trees. Continental breakfast included. Evening meals available. Additional bedrooms available. Enjoy modern comforts in a sympathetically restored French Longere farmhouse. Original beams, newly fitted solid oak floors and handmade oak doors give a rich, warm feel to the room. The bedroom has a king sized bed, imported from the UK, with crisp white hotel quality bed linen and towels. The ensuite bathroom has a fixed head thermostatically controlled shower. We serve a continental breakfast between 07:30 and 09:30 in our light and spacious breakfast room. The Sunset bedroom has a combined area of 26 m2 and is one of three bedrooms available at 'Les Bouts'. Guests are welcome to use the lounge provided for them where there are comfortable armchairs and a three seater sofa. Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the bedroom. Surrounding the property are spacious grounds with seating where guests can enjoy the relaxed nature of the countryside... and enjoy watching out for the local wildlife. Philip and Julie live at 'Les Bouts' and will always do what they can to help guests with any requests they might have... which restaurants to visit, the best places to see, where to find an ATM or the nearest petrol station... or maybe where to go to for a really good cup of coffee! Evening meals are often available to guests. We typically serve a three course meal with complimentary coffee in our dining room. Please let us know when you contact us if you are interested in an evening meal at 'Les Bouts' so that we can send you a menu for the dates of your stay... when available, we ask for 24 hours notice so that we can make sure we have fresh produce ready for you. Les Bouts de Ralle may be snuggled in the heart of the countryside, but we are well placed with several large towns and places of interest in the surrounding area. Just five minutes away is the pretty village of Cogners with it's super cafe and restaurant, near to the Château de Cogners. Drive for ten minutes and you can visit the Château de Courtanveau, enjoy a guided tour of the interior and take a leisurely stroll around the large lake. The market towns of Saint Calais and Bessé-sur-Bray are less than 15 minutes away with shops, chemists and banks should you need them. A little further afield is the bustling city of Le Mans with its beautiful old town and cathedral, towns like Vendome, La Ferté-Bernard and La Chartre-sur-le-Loir with it’s strong racing car heritage. Le Pays de la Loire is renowned for its beautiful Châteaux with Le Lude, Chateaudun, Amboise, Baugé and Blois around an hour away. Although our check-in time is from 16:00, we realise that some guests might like to check-in earlier... especially at the weekend if you are going to a wedding at nearby Château de Courtanvaux... please let us know if this is the case and we will do our best to accommodate you.
