Built in the sixteen hundreds, the heritage-protected villa is full of history. The walls are covered in frescos and paintings made by Isabella's grandfather, who first came to Carmignano in the 1960s to paint. We've been sharing the Tuscan way of life with our guests from around the world since 2012. Besides a comfortable bed to sleep in and a breakfast to start the day with, we like to share the best our beautiful country has to offer: great food, culture, and relaxation. Our guests are welcome to use the fridge to store their own food and use the cooking devices such as the microwave, the coffee machine, the water boiler, the egg boiler, and the toaster. Even though the center of Carmignano is walking reachable in 5 minutes, the villa is surrounded by nature with its olive grove and orchard ; and people can experience a holiday in touch with nature . The area is safe, quiet , and relaxing, and at the same time close to all amenities such as shops, bus stop: 500 mt (to Florence, Prato, Pistoia). The rooms are kept in a rustic/romantic style and are cool even in the hottest period of summer; air conditioning is not necessary in this house! Natural awakening by the cockcrow. The center of Carmignano is walking reachable in 5 minutes. In Carmignano you can find a pharmacy , few grocery stores, good restaurants and pizzeria, tobaccos etc. . The bus stop is 500 mt far from the bnb . By bus you can reach the most important cities ( Florence , Prato, Pistoia and you have also connection to Pisa, Lucca and Siena) Here are some other distances from our bnb: Florence Peretola airport: 19 km, Pisa airport: 68 Supermarket: 4 km, Mall 10 km; Prato Central Train Station 13 km.
